Tiny Dancer Program Ages 2.5-7 AADF is very excited to welcome Miss Jane back to AADF as our Tiny Dancer Program Director. Miss Jane is known around the area as the “Tiny Dancer Whisperer” and through her patience, expectations and appreciation for the little ones, she is THE BEST there is! The Tiny Dancer Program is designed for consistent, age-appropriate dance training. The levels are progressive building blocks for young dancers, utilizing combinations that increase in difficulty and skill as the dancer moves through the program. Dress code is by level, with each Level of combo having its own color. Dress code helps in establishing discipline from the very beginning of a dancer’s training; and it is a “badge of honor” to move up to the next level and the next color. Once a month students may wear a different leotard and skirt on the announced date. (Attached skirts don’t work well for Acro) -NO attached skirts. Skirts can be worn separately when appropriate. -Jewelry in dance class is distracting; hoop earrings are also dangerous. No necklaces, bracelets, etc. -Pink tights required (preferably convertible tights with a hole underneath the foot so that they may take their foot out of the tights for Acro) -Pink Ballet shoes (no strings preferably) -Black Tap Shoes with elastic or buckles -Hair: Slicked back in a bun if hair is long enough or a braid.
